Procedures and Methods of Destruction of Personal Information
In principle, the Company destroys personal information without delay after the purpose of collection and use is achieved. The procedures and methods of destruction are as follows:

Destruction Procedure Information entered by the member for membership registration, etc., is transferred to a separate DB (or a separate file box for paper documents) after the purpose is achieved. It is stored for a certain period according to internal policies and other relevant laws regarding information protection (refer to the Period of Retention and Use) and then destroyed. Personal information transferred to a separate DB is not used for any other purpose unless required by law.

In principle, the Company does not provide users’ personal information to external parties. However, exceptions are made in the following cases:

Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them
Users and legal representatives may view or modify their own registered personal information or that of children under the age of 14 at any time, and may also request cancellation of their subscription. To view/modify the personal information of a user or a child under 14, click “Change Personal Information” (or “Edit Member Information”). To cancel the subscription (withdraw consent), click “Withdrawal” to go through the identity verification process and then view, correct, or withdraw directly. Alternatively, if you contact the Chief Privacy Officer in writing, by phone, or by email, we will take action without delay. If you request correction of an error in your personal information, the personal information will not be used or provided until the correction is completed. Also, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, we will notify the third party of the result of the correction without delay so that the correction can be made. CHC LAB handles personal information terminated or deleted at the request of the user or legal representative as specified in the “Period of Retention and Use of Personal Information Collected by CHC LAB” and processes it so that it cannot be viewed or used for any other purpose.
